St. Pauli is considered to be the most sinful district of Hamburg by many. This is probably due to its many bars and sex shops, but there is so much more to this very unique area of Hamburg. St. Pauli is also a residential area with a nice waterfront and a very interesting history. Listen to the guide’s fun and exciting stories an learn about the ‚King of St. Pauli‘, Hamburg’s previous suburbs and the former borders between Hamburg and the Danish town Altona. Pass by Herbert Street (Herbertstraße) and its famous old bars, se the famous police station ‚Davidwache‘, Spielbudenplatz and ‚Big Freedom’ (Große Freiheit) street, where the Beatles started their career and take a look at some of the neighborhood’s dancing pubs. St. Pauli offers a lot of sights, history and curiosities for you to hear about on the guided tour in a pleasant atmosphere. With this tour you will get to see the most interesting places in Hamburg’s famous amusement district.


The tour takes place on Fridays and Saturdays from 6.30pm - 8.30 pm.
The meeting point is: Subway Station St. Pauli U3, exit Millerntorplatz, close to the red house near the bus stop.

This is a walking tour, a moderate amount of walking is involved. Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.
